The Colors of Bamboo Floors

The colors of bamboo floors are mainly divided into two series: natural bamboo color and dark carbonized bamboo color. Carbonized bamboo floors are produced through carbonizing process and are a little softer than natural bamboo floors.

The Structure of Bamboo Floors

There are two kinds of structure of bamboo floors: vertical structure bamboo floor and horizontal structure bamboo floor. Bamboo floor of different structure has its own characteristics.

Vertical bamboo floor is made of vertical bamboo strips which are stand vertically on their narrowest edge and then glued and hot-pressed side to side. Vertical bamboo floor has uniform straight grains and are not likely to deform .

Horizontal bamboo floor usually has bamboo grains and bamboo nodes in its surface because horizontal bamboo floor is made of bamboo strips laid in horizontal direction .

Vertical bamboo floor is a little more expensive than horizontal bamboo floor.
